We’ve all heard or read about the horror stories of students, interns and volunteers abroad these last few years. From revolutions blazing through a region to earthquakes and tsunamis to victims of crime, our indelible community has faced a multitude of safety hazards while abroad. There have been many instances where our safety has come under question, and arming yourself by knowing your rights and the correct procedure in staying safe is important. The better prepared you are the more likely your chances of staying safe. In this section we aim to prepare you for the challenges coming your way and arm you with knowledge that will hopefully not be needed but come in handy if an emergency comes your way.
